Trail
Wood is an 168 acre sanctuary and former home of
Pulitzer Prize winning naturalist writer Edwin Way
Teale. The property is maintained as it was in Teale's
time. The property has several miles of walking
trails which are open to the public from dawn to
dusk. Guided
bird walks, weekend workshops on natural history
and gardening. The woodland, field, wetland and pond
habitats are abound with wildlife.
