Quaddick State Park once the site of
Thompson’s town
farm for the elderly to spend their reflective years,
was designated as a state
park in 1951, after it was developed into a Forestry
recreation
area. A water-oriented park used by swimmers, fishers
and boaters. The Park offers a concession, toilets,
phones, change houses and boat launch.
Recreational Activities: Boating,
field sports, fishing, ice skating, picnicking, swimming
and hiking.
