The main
feature is Lake Naubesatuck, the man-made impoundment
of a flood central facility. It is normally
440 acres but can expand to 1,950 acres and hold
over 700 million gallons of water. It is noted
for its fishing; largemouth bass, yellow perch, pickerel,
black crappie, bluegill sunfish, and pumpkin seeds. American
eel and several kinds of trout are also found there. Restrooms,
parking, boat launch.
Recreational Activities: Hiking,
picnicking, boating, field sports, fishing, cross
country skiing and nature trail.
