Brief
Description:
This fine
example of a one-man mill operation of the 1890’s
has original milling equipment. Billy Brayton
operated this mill, shelling corn and grinding
grain, from 1890 until his death in 1928. The
tool exhibit represents the craft of three generations
of blacksmiths. Maintained by Pomfret Historical Society.
