Brief Description:
A year-round
recreational facility, the area offers swimming,
boating, fishing, picnicking, hiking and canoeing
in warmer weather; ice fishing is popular in winter
months. Swimming beaches are located at Streeter
Beach in Sturbridge, MA, and Lake Siog in Holland,
MA. Boat ramps for both power and non-powered boats
are located in Sturbridge and Brimfield, MA, and
access East Brimfield Lake. Canoe and small boat
ramps on Lake Siog lead to the scenic Quinebaug River
and a flat-water canoe trip to East Brookfield Lake.
